Welcome
to the Official PEGWARMERS web page.
The
world of Sci-Fi and fantasy fandom
. . . is bigger now that it has ever
been. Today there are a record number of science-fiction franchises
bringing in huge profits every year, with millions of fervent
fans connecting online and at conventions all over the globe.
And yet, most people still think of these pointy eared, white
armored, multi-sided-dice slinging fanatics simply as the
lunatic fringe.
But
who are these people?
Why do they risk ridicule for
what many outsiders consider nothing more than a trivial
and juvenile pursuit?. Pegwarmers delves into the world
of Sci-Fi and Fantasy fandom to discover what makes
these devoted fans tick, and why it seems that "geek",
has become "chic"
Outrageous
and often insightful,...
Pegwarmers is
the feature length documentary that looks to uncover
the veil of mystery and examine the stigma that surrounds
this often misunderstood subculture. So set your phasers
on stun, and join us on a Galactic adventure, as we
take a passionate insiders look at the worlds of toy
and comic collecting, Sci-Fi and Medieval costuming,
fantasy gaming and everything else in between.

| 20 | 2007 Sing along with Brock
The Pegwarmers theme, as composed and
sung by our good friend Brock Skywalker, is now available
for download. I wanna thank Brock for coming up with such
a great tune that really captures the essence of Pegwarmers.
Kudos to you Brock, Kudos to you!.
They wear Vulcan ears, White plastic suits
or cloaked and hooded like Jedi
Some wear chainmail, others wear wigs
and even the odd, Redeye
They meet up on line, they mingle at fairs
and they all enjoy good clean fun
But don't let them quote the Holy Grail
or you know they'll never be done!
(chorus)
Pegwarmers, that everyone tends to walk by
Pegwarmers, on the shelf 'til their $2.99
Pegwarmers, shunned like we were in High School
But that's what make's them cool!
They're the ones that stand in line for days
and wear a costume to opening night
you may worry about their sanity
but most are completely all right
They might be from Vulcan, Edmontooine
or back in medieval days
they are doctors lawyes and clerks by day
but they have fun in fantastical ways
They do it for the kids, the wow effect
or just to be told they look cool
and even without their twelve sided die
they will challenge your ass to a duel!
(chorus)
Pegwarmers, that everyone tends to walk by
Pegwarmers, on the shelf 'til their $2.99
Pegwarmers, shunned like we were in High School
But that's what make's them cool!
nobody want them, there's too many made
on the shelf they sit, alone and remain
that's. what, makes! them! coo-oo-ool!

After more than a year
of shooting, over 90 hours of footage and interviewing
nearly 100 people, Pegwarmers is currently in the post-production
phase and musical scoring of the documentary will begin
soon. It's getting close to completion, and I'm pretty
darned excited about it.
I am really quite pleased
with how the documentary is turning out, and am looking
forward to sharing this crazy little adventure with
all of you. Just a quick shout out to everyone who has
helped me out along the way. So here's a big thank you
to the Badlands Garrison, the Calgary Fanforce, The
Knights of the Northern Realm, the great folks in Vulcan,
people like Pastor Al, Michelle Becker, Shane Turgeon,
David Kho, Jeff Jobb and to all those really wonderful
